When did India established Doctors Day?

India established Doctor's Day on July 1st, 1991. The day was officially designated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a highly respected physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal. Since then, Doctor's Day has been celebrated annually in India to honor the contributions and selfless service of doctors in the country.
